The workshop will bring together participants from the scientific, federal, and commercial sectors involved in underwater technology and in particular underwater wireless communications and networking. By engaging experts, practitioners, students, and end-users, the workshop’s goal is to develop an application-driven strategic plan for future directions in underwater communications and networking that will serve the needs of industry, academia, and government agencies.
